Ecela - Bariloche, Argentina

bariloche.jpgBariloche, situated at the foot of the Andes and the south bank of  Nahuel Huapi Lake, is the outdoor tourism capital of Patagonia! The  tranquil atmosphere, clean air, rustic architecture and beautiful  countryside make Bariloche an ideal destination for nature lovers who  prefer a cozy ambiance. Even the most experienced travelers are  impressed by the beautiful mountains and lakes of Bariloche; it is a  paradise for outdoor activities in summer as well as in winter. During  summer you can go rafting, canyoning, climbing, and trekking. During  the winter you should not miss the chance to ski in the nearby  mountains, reaching heights of 2400 meters.

The city is well known for its excellent restaurants, hotels, shops and  entertainment. You will also find beautiful handicrafts and delicious  homemade chocolate.

Bariloche is easily reached from Buenos Aires and many other Argentinean cities as well as Chile. There are many flights from to and from Bariloche, but you can also travel there by bus if you have more time for traveling. The country is a unique destination in South America for learning Spanish, relaxing, or adventuring!

Our school is five blocks away from the city center. The school  building is large and modern with six classrooms and several common  areas with free Internet access and a sizable patio. The neighborhood  surrounding the school is quiet and there are many shops where you  can find all kinds of goods and services. Close by are restaurants and  some of the region’s typical chocolate shops. The school is centrally  located and within 15 minutes of all our housing options.
